wondering after doing performance mods which tuning chip or programer you guys would recomend?

Any tuning device is only as good as the tune you get out of it. More important than the particular PCM tuning device is the person doing the tuning.

That said, the SCT XCAL2 w/ the PRP package is the most versatile.

yeah thats what i thought i kno i probally cant tune my self to save my cars life but im probally never going to have to tune for turbos or 3l but maybe i will?

The predator is pretty good, but im gonna agree with the others. The SCT Xcal 2 and the PRP are the best.

Xcal2 with a base mail order tune will run you about $360 or so
A bare one maybe $325 shipped.

PRP software package is another $250 or so on top of that.

So about $650 will get you the xcal2+prp I think.
Of course you are sitting there with a lot of power and no tune with that cost and you will have to figure out how to use it. :shrug:

Probably best for you to get the xcal2 and pay somebody to tune it. Warmonger can tune many of the popular contour ecu codes and he knows what he's doing.
