can you explain these differences more, for those of us that have little to no idea about them, or direct us to a place that does?
Basically, the SA rated helmets are required to have a certain level of fire retardancy in the lining materials, and the M rated helmets are not required to meet the fire retardant specs. If you aren't on fire, then the two different types of helmets would perform virtually identical.
