The HRI actually has better tread wear, traction, and/or temperature ratings than many of the other tires in its class, even ones that cost more.
a 400 A A rating is pretty damn good for that money. Especially when you can buy 2 to 4 of them for the price you would pay for something any better.

But always keep in mind that is just an approximate rating. I've had 300+ all seasons last 10k and had 200 high performance summer tires last 20k. Always try to find a review to see what people are actually seeing on the road.
