looks like i should deffinitly get my work done and get the tune on this thing, maybe then my power band will be correct and i can show alias what a tuned power band looks like on an N/A zetec. Maybe ill have a chance in beating him in power with my atx. :laugh:
 
Question,

I am contemplating this meet, but the dyno part...If my thrid gear is slightly grinding and i would want to do a dyno on the car, can it be done or is dyno more recommended for not f* up transmission cars?

You're third gear grind is an issue with the syncro in the trans(if you didn't know this) The dyno pulls are done by slowly getting the car up to about3K in 4th gear and then the peddle is put down. The dyno should have no ill effects on your trans any more than driving it every day.

Correct, i knew about the trans problem itself, i was just worried if i were to do it they'd turn me down or something because of their required shifting, but as you explained 4th gear is where all the stuff happens, which is good to go, thank god it is only the common 3rd gear and it is not that bad, oh well, for another thread.

I will more than likely go and do this, it will hopefully have the headers and a good UIM/LIM clean-up done by way before this.
