You MAY be able to polish some of that out , so it doesn't look quite so bad . I'd wait till spring also (if you can stand it) - for the same reason you're saying .
I agree, I think alot of that should buff out with some work. Although it may not be perfect, it should look good enough to hold you over until the spring.
