side mirror

ok are the side mirrors glass or plastic? I'm guessing plastic because one night me and my friend got in a fight and i punched the side mirror instead of her (I'm not hitting a girl) . and the glass part just pooped out but they look pitted and was wondering if i could polish them with plastic polish. thanks guys/ gals

I'n not up on the glass/platic part, but if she can get you that mad then I suggest you part ways with that friend.:nonono:
