The headlight assemblies on my '98 are heavily crazed/yellowed. I don't want to monkey with treatments, polishes, etc, so I'm shopping for replacements. Surprisingly, they seem to be available everywhere (online). The only obvious difference among the offerings is price, which varies from $170/pair to over $200 each (dealer).
I would choose purely by price, but I have concerns about quality. I'm having a hard time locating reliable reviews of the various cheap online retailers. Does anyone know if there are hidden quality traps to avoid with the low-cost products? Are all headlight assemblies sourced from the same manufacturer, and individual retailers just have different markup?
Any recent purchase experiences or secondhand anecdotes might be helpful. Thanks!
