Running Weird (With Video)

clutch clatter...

clutch clatter...

Did you get the clutch clatter fixed? I had a dodge stratus that had that same sound. It was a defective bearing. It didn't bother anything, just sounded awful.

The clutch chatter doesn't bother me. I have an SVT clutch with a fidanza flywheel so it's going to chatter. It actually doesn't even chatter that much it just was a lot in the video.

Well, pulling the same codes mine was pulling, the po171 and 174... ended up being my MAF Sensor. Have a look at it, clean it, and maybe get someone that knows what they are doing to test it. Mine was checked by the "Performance Specialist" at the local Ford dealer. And he knew what the hell he was doing! lol Anyways, he replaced my UIM and LIM gaskets and told me about the MAF ready weak, told me it might throw the codes again. Well, it did shortly after, and after replacing the MAF, it runs like a top! (aside from my ticking issues) Stumbled in the lower rpms, strong in the top end were the issues. I know its the 2.5 in mine, but just wanted to share that. If the MAF is reading incorrectly, telling the CPU its getting less air than it really is, it will starve the engine of fuel, and read lean....
Anyways, my 2 cents!

Well today I tried a little experiment and put in the SVT MAF that I had. The car runs sooo much better. It seems like it has a small misfire down low and really starts to stumble up top. The whole car doesn't shake anymore at idle but the engine does still buck a little like it did before. Now it is on a very steady pattern at idle with a buck about every 1.5 seconds. I'm thinking this has to be somewhere in the spark system. Problem is...new coil pack, new plugs, and new wires....??????
