I was at the gas station today at night when a group of ricers (civic hatchback slammed, integra slammed and a civic dx) pulled in with horrible fart cans, primered paint with white bodykits and neons :nonono: . They came up and were looking around my car (left my HID's on by accident). They were telling eachother that I just slapped an "SVT" badge on from a mustang to make it seem as I have an SVT. Little did they know that Ford made an SVT contour. I told them that and they just laughed, I showed them my engine bay with the badge that I have. They still were like naw man u def. slapped an SVT badge on this car, what body kit did you put on. THen I pulled out the SVT manual and slapped their sorry asses with it. They left in their cars, all 3 of them scrapping while pulling on to the road with their cool chopped springs :rolleyes:. I didnt scrape with my mirko, and at night my car looked sexy with the wheels :drool:

I hate stoopid vegetable fried ricers and ignorant people.
 
i honestly never knew that there was a svt tour until I hit this site. My first reaction to seeing one would have been the same. Isn't ignorance wonderful?

I work with a bunch of ignorant fools, its just amazing how their mind thinks. This lady (about 50) shes kinda like my boss was stressing on me that had she been president during the whole 9/11. She woulda nuked all arab nations regardless if they did it or not, and she was dead serious. How do you respond to that, wrose part being she was stressing it out loud in front of customers..amazing i tell you..anywho back on topic :cool:
 
Couldda just said what if a few white americans went and did the same thing in some other country... would she want all of america nuked?

And did you not joke on those guys? I wouldn't even bothered trying to convince them. I'd just joke on their busted up cars. And then blow their doors off.
 
I honestly didn't know there was a such thing as an SVT Contour till I found this site in 2002. I saw an SVT Contour around town, but didn't see any SVT badge on it (wasn't really looking and it had graphics on it anyways:nonono: ) and came on here to find the "body kit" for my SE. When I found out there was a such thing as an SVT Contour, I wished I woulda bought one instead of my SE. Now I have the best of both worlds :laugh: :crazy: Ricers always just sit and stare at my SVT...a couple have wanted to race, but most just sit and stare.:eek:
 
ya most people just sit and stare. i loved it when i went to my local ford dealership and as sales man came over before i even got out of the car and was "how can i help you today" i just say im here for parts and then he goes of ,man i remember selling these cars they were great cars -then the magic words what is thing again? a sho ???
i stoped turned around and gave him a dirty look shook my head and kept walking.
and back on topic what did their pipes say? folgers-maxwell house ??

All the guys at my work are in absolute awe of my SVTC. Just this week one of the them told me he hated all fords until he saw my car. Have to add that the svt is one sweet ride, and one of the best parts is that no one knows that it exists. I love a sleeper.
 
most dont know wtf my car is, it has not ford badges anywhere..the lights are totally different and my mirko confuses everyone LOL
 
I'd just look at them like you were utterly confused by what they're saying, and then ask them what happened to their cars.
 
the first time i heard about a SVT contour, i thought it was a joke.. My friend told me he had one.. ( i pictured in my head, just as those ricer guys thought some lame A$$ body kit with a SVT badge slapped on)
but man, was i wrong. ...

It is probably the most underestimated Car, from looks to performance, but until you drive/drive in a Contour SVT you'll just have to take someones word for it.
 
idk why you didnt just laugh and walk away. what are you really trying to prove to someone who doesn't know what kind of car you have, or thinks its something other then it really is? you were baitted hook line and sinker. if i was filling my car up with gas while this was all going on, i would have laughed harder at you because they played you like a fiddle trying to be all retarded. may be you were on video the entire time while these guys were making you look even more retarded when they start poking fun at your car.

i know its funny and all when most people don't know what kinda car i have, but it does get old fast. but seriously trying to prove to idiotic people you have a csvt and not just a regular contour by showing manuals and badges is pretty sad

i remember a few years back, I was picking up my then girlfriend at college. I was outside her dorm. and along come these two thugged out white boys who porb. just parked their riced out civic. As they walked by my car within plain veiw of me, with my window down one of em says "why the F... would you put a bodykit on a taurus", I couldn't help but do anything but laugh at the stupidity of those idiots.
