Removing the Grille assembly

Hey guys ,

I want to paint my grille black instead of the chrome and i removed the 2 screws that hold it in place.. is that all there is to remove it because from the looks of it, it looks like it...
is there any thing else holding it down because it just wont come off lol
can someone please help me i feel stupid :laugh:

2 screws up top and two clips down low where they snap around an edge if I'm remembering correctly.

yep. get a long flathead screwdriver in there and get those clips off. its a little L shaped piece of plastic

Good advice right here.

Be carefull not to snap the button clips off when your pulling it off.

ALSO when you put the grill back on. Do not over tighten the top tabs wher e you tighten down the bolts. Just make it snug. Because you will break your tabs off and be stuck without a grill.....and then of course you'll be ordering a new one.

thanks guys found those little tab's.. but yes they dont look to strong so i just tightened them up so there snug. thanks people:laugh:
