I am currently using the stock airbox on my 2.5 Duratec V6 because heatsoak was very bad with the BK Racing cone filter.
On certain BMW sites etc they recommend removing the airbox baffle to improve throttle response and a general but slight performance increase. I've noticed the baffle in the Contour/Mondeo V6 airbox is very similar to the BMW, is it worth removing it and has anyone ever done it?
