I had some questions regarding an idea i had this past weekend. I read the FAQs and many of the threads, as well as some online research. I have been contemplating going FI for a while now, and may have finally decided to do it. But i was thinking, as opposed to running the standard T3/4 kit, using 2 smaller turbos off of each manifold. The reason i even thought of it is because my friend is helping me make a set of custom equal length headers, and figured if it can be done, then might as well mount the flanges during the process. My idea consists of running 2 smaller turbos, say off of something 1.5, 1.8 or 2.0 turbo engines, one from each bank. I am already 3L PM swapped so i wouldnt think the smaller size would be an issue if run like this. My assumption is it would clear up some space under the hood that a normal single turbo would. Its also not my intention on running high boost or have a lot of lag if at all possible. Im also able to make a lot of parts through my job as well, which would help keep costs down to a minimum. If anyone would be so kind as to maybe point out some flaws or provide advice, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
