Nope... the bung was roughly at 4 o'clock and behind the cat. Widebands should be mounted between 10 and 2 o'clock... closer to 12 is preferable. As well as keeping it before any catalytic device.

ahh, so actually what your saying, is it'll be hard for me to tune well with the precats in the way....

Some people say they can tune around them... as they know roughly how a cat affects the a/f ratio. It's still best to have the wideband in front of them.

yeah, which is not really possible with the precats, because other wise you only get the reading from one bank

I plan to leave it installed, and really don't want to purchase two sensors.

I could always just gut the precats when I get my wideband.
