The story behing the parking, for those that weren't there is that a couple people parked their cars at an angle to get a good shot with the beach and other things in the background. Parking within the lines doesn't always offer the best photo opportunity. It didn't last long because other people sorta swarmed in. Once you get a couple parked crooked, you can't just start parking the others straight.
