I worked on the Hybrid Escape launch down at KCAP, same place the Contour was built - the CD4E Escapes have the int shaft. I'd assume they used a similar setup on the Contour CD4E.

From an Axle guy aka me, all contours have int shafts. That is the only way they were made.
 
I want to see a picture of it with the monroes up front and stockers int he rear! :laugh:

honestly after the beating your struts took after your springs broke you will be very happy with monroes they may not be the coolest thing but they are functional and work better than what your have ..plus i dont think your gonna be driving like a complete nutcase (however i could be wrong ) and when ya get money then upgrade til then enjoy what ya can afford nice work by your pops btw ...he saved you even more money lol:cool:
 
oh i know. we save BUNCHES of $$ doing the work ourselves.

and i'll have BATS or Konis eventually.
