oh well, everybody with their own preferences...

i don't know that it's really a matter of preference... it's a matter of running the biggest driver that you can reasonably fit in your car (or deal with on a daily basis due to box size, etc). the fact of the matter is, a larger driver reproduces music just as well as a smaller one, given both are setup and driven properly. as such, it would seem to make sense to run the bigger driver that is less likely to be overdriven during extreme dynamic sequenses. less chance for distortion is always a good thing!
