Cops notice these things when they want to. :) But I think I will give it a shot. Would be nice to see that little bit extra at night though.
I seriously went out to my car and was done with it in less than five minutes. Although I already had my under steering wheel panel off so that wasnt a problem.
I usually just use them cruising with the parking lights on :) That's where its at.
Thats the same reason I did it. I drive around all the time downtown with just my fogs on and never get stopped. Downtown is already bright enough. No point in wasting headlight life:crazy:

Can anyone else think of what easy mods we can help eachother with while we are together? Someone can realign my exhaust....it became bent on one side after the car was rear ended. DOH!

Thats a possibility, where is it bent specifically? The actual pipes are bent or just like the hangers are bent? If it's just the hangers that wouldn't be hard but if the pipes are bent it'd be easiest with the exhaust off the car.

It looks as if the pipe is bent itself a little. And the part that holds the hanger is further back because of the frame being smushed a little as well.

Pull the exhaust off completely, determine where it needs to be bent and which direction you need to bend it, wedge that section of the exhaust in a large tree limb (i know you got plenty of those up there) and pry on it from a ways away to straighten it out. Worked wonders back when I bent up my old truck exhaust :) You should be able to bend the hangers too to take up some of the imperfections

We cut down the 50 foot spuse in our back yard this spring...nooooooo. :)

Yeah - I might solder it, depends on the angle - I've got some 3M super 80 electrical tape - **** wont even burn with an open flame on it...

Oops.. I forgot... As to what parking lot we should meet in:
I decided we should meet in the one under the overpass cause all the rest you gotta pay to be in:nonono: .... Stupid city. Other than that I think everything is covered. Except where for sure we wanna eat.

real men leave bare wires about. :)

Hehe - I should take a pic of our 78 Bronco. The previous owner was a moron. So imagine this, you unlock the door, grab the mirror, pull the handle and pull the door off and set aside. (The PO welded them shut, now we know why) Take a few steps back, run, and jump into the cab (it sits on 40" Super Swamper Boggers with a 6" suspension lift) Put the keys into the ignition, turn the key - nothing but the brake and seatbelt lights come on. Look down to your right - there is a jungle of wires handing down. Hit one switch, you get porno red lights under the dash and overhead. Hit the other, nothing.... So if you want to start it - grab a pair of red wires and connect them - it starts - be quick though! Dont want to burn out the starter competing with the motor.. If you want running rear lights, twist some blue wires together - sorry, no brake lights.. Headlights, ahh, headlights.. There are some more blue wires - gently pull on them until the headlights come on - avoid potholes at night  Blinkers - meh, they dont exsist, neither do the parking lamps..

Thank god this is a project trail truck, but damn... After looking under the dash, I'd love to kick the poo outa the guy - but the price couldn't be beat.. It sure does look intimidating though
