Whats with Milan's track rules... particularly the roll cage rule...

Straight from their website:

**Any Car Using Slicks Needs a Drive Shaft Loop**

14:00 & Up
Catch can
Seat Bealts
Neutral Saftey Switch

13.99
Helmet Snell 90 or Higher

11.50 - 13.49
Roll Bar or Roll Cage For Convertibles

10.00 - 11.49
Aftermarket Rear Axles (10.99)
Harmonic Balancer (10.99)
Transmission Shield (10.99)
Drive Shaft Loop
Current Seat Belts (5 Point SFI)
Flywheel Shield
Fire Jacket
Arm Restraints (Open Cars)
Roll Cage/Roll Bar
Window Net for Roll Cage

Hell so your telling me all stock Corvettes and Z28 Camaros/Pontiac TA's need to have roll cages? Or is this only for convertibles?

My brother (not the one that went to SZ last year) is pissed because he just upgraded his turbo in his SRT4 and bought all the components to bring it to a stage 2. He will easily get into the 13.5 range. Does anyone know if this is correct? The phone number on their website is not correct nor is it right in the yellow pages.

I mean most tracks I've been to enforce roll cages when you get sub 11.5, what is up with this.

it means if you have a convertable and are running a 13.49 or faster you have to have a roll bar or cage. thats a pretty standard rule across the board for dragways from what i have seen.

Yes covertibles need the roll bar. There are not to many rules that the Contour is going to fall under anyway.
