To keep the other thread Pre -1985 per the OP's request, what is your other pride and Joy that is not yet considered a classic?

Mine would be my 98 Dakota 5.9 R/T. It's lowered 2''/3'', has 20'' replicas of the factory wheels, has a K&N FIPK and a nice little custom exhaust setup. I've had it for a bit now and don't have any other plans for it, It's nice to just get it in and drive.

There is of course the SHO and the MS3, but pictures of those are posted enough. What about you?

My $600 winter beater 01 Outback Limited. Its loaded, only missing a couple of options at 237k miles and going strong.

Also have my 89 SHO which at this point isnt worth posting shots of and my 02 Cougar which I have posted up a couple times.

Thanks to the new CSVT it has been relieved from DD duty and sits in the garage with the cougar, unless it snows, I need to haul something, or just want to feel fancy and in charge. When the time comes I want to lift it a little bit with coilovers or something up front to give me a little more suspension travel and bigger tires with smaller wider offset wheels. Headers, intake, and tune would be awesome as well.

The '85-'87s are classic. '88-'89 are just lame.
Kidding of course. Nice ride!

I miss my 1987 XR4Ti. It was the 1st car I ever had. Dad brought it brand new in 1987. It was also Rosso red. Then later in maybe the later 1990's dad found a used 1988 Merkur Scorpio coming in at his job.. I miss them both!!

I bought one new back in 88. It was a left over 87, silver in color. I really liked the car, even though everyone called it the jellybean car.

I work with a guy who has like 30 of those (no joke!)
He said he brought 7 of them to Carlisle the year that they raffled off the xr4ti, which he ended up winning
I'll have to get a hold of you next time I'm looking for one. Last time I was shopping, I couldn't find a decent one within 250 miles with a 5-speed. That's how I ended up getting the Contour instead.

I havent seen his fleet, so I dont know what condition they are all in. I think he is more of a hoarder than a buyer/seller
Supposedly they are stored indoor in a building that his family owns
