Ok guys, when do we all want to finally get a meet setup? you can post your suggestions for what we want to do in this thread. ill leave the poll open until Monday night. then we can decide on what to do.

I think Loitering, wings, and cruise sound awesome, hopefully I can find more Cougars and bring the Focus guys out of hibernation.

How about you guys drive up here.
i did that already. Does Lilly like fireworks? you guys could always come down for Thunder Over Louisville. one of the largest air shows in the country and the largest fireworks display in the country.

I good for anything besides Thunder. I have to work...all day.

But I really don't think that Thunder would be good for a meet. It would be a good time to hang out and stuff, but not to get together for our cars, its so hard to get around then.

We need somewhere out in the country where we can rip in the curves on some back road and have a little fun...hint hint....

I agree, it was more of an invite for Hector and his family to come down for the show.

If you want curving back roads, i have that covered :D:D we could also set up a skiing meet and go to Paoli Peaks. we could even take the curving back road (161) to get there.

Ok I live about 15-20 mins from Paoli Peaks and I have no idea as for what 161 you are talking about. But if we do go out there I do know some pretty good twistys out here.

There hasn't been a bad idea yet haha. I guess if we do the curvy back roads then I'll have to show you how the Coog handles.

Oh 160. I have been on that a couple times but I was talking maybe a little more back roads. Here was my thought.

Meet somewhere in Louisville and eat or whatever.
Take I-64 across the bridge into Indiana
Get off at the New Albany Exit
Take 111 south towards the Casino
Take Corydon Pike up through the knobs and hit 62
Take 62 south towards Lanesville into Corydon
Head north on 135 once in Corydon until we hit 337
Take 337 into Depauw and then either

1. Take backroads that don't even exist on mapquest from Depauw directly north to Fredericksburg on 150

or

2. Take 64 west for a couple miles and hit 66 north which will also take us to 150.

Then either way we go its just a few miles from once we get on 150 to Paoli.

Check it out on mapquest. Its a pretty good cruising route.

The Focus guys are all for it. They are open pretty much when ever. svttouruofl, lead the way! I would like to meet and greet for an hour or 2 before the cruise, or meet and greet, cruise, stop at a place to eat, continue cruise. Lets get a solid date now.

looks like were waiting on Jim. hopefully he'll have something figured out by this weekend.

the only downside i see to cruising is the cost of gas, :censored::censored::censored::censored: keeps going up in price

I plan on making a run of the cruise to give you all an idea of how long it takes and how many miles we are talking. Just to give you a little more info on it and give you a better idea of what I'm talking about.

But still this is just my suggestion and its covers a good part of southern Indiana. I'm up for anything.

the suggestion i had was to go to a place called Open Range in Crestwood for some reball (paintball basically) and tehn we could either cruise somewhere for food or go down the street to Hometown Pizza. Theres also this great italian place called Steve-Os Italian Kitchen down in Bukner.

Ok i just found out that my GF is coming home next weekend (the 8th) so im out for that day. if we include RAYSVT it looks like the 22nd is going to be the date.

ScootySVT15: can you verify that your only available on the 8th or did you just not realize it was a multiple choice poll?

so now we just need to decide what we want to do. do we want to cruise, ski, reball, or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Skiing is probably the most expensive as i believe lift tickets are about $45 plus rentals, food, and gas to get there.

with 5 of us if we each bring one friend we can do 5v5 reball. its $30 for 2 hours including equipment rental, unlimited air, and unlimited balls. we can then get some food afterwards.

cruise is just the cost of fuel and food.

my vote goes for the reball but i will do whatever the majority of us want to do.

kugakrazy: how many of the focus guys are willing to join us on the 22nd and what is their preferance as to what we do?

We had a tally of 4, but maybe 5 for the 22nd. Cox's park on the waterfront was suggested, sounds cool to me, thats about as productive as it got.
