I did not play with the shield on my projectors. That's something I would do if I ever did another set/had to redo these. And yes, I did test fit the projector and have a "NOOOO" moment. Nothing can be easy!

As for the moisture I'm getting, I sealed that light within an inch of its life. I have the two hoses on the back but I'm still getting some moisture. The other light is still fine though.

Sealing them up is THE hardest part if you ask me! I have learned to use butyl, and it works like a charm. You apply it, and then heat it w a heat gun until it is all gooey. Put the lenses back on and press the lights together overnight. Works 90% of the time. And if it fails? Reheat them, rip them open again and repeat the steps. Contrary to popular belief, DO NOT USE rtv silicone. It's a great sealant, but good luck if you need to reopen the lights again. Hope this helps.
