Just another HID projector build

I did not play with the shield on my projectors. That's something I would do if I ever did another set/had to redo these. And yes, I did test fit the projector and have a "NOOOO" moment. Nothing can be easy!

As for the moisture I'm getting, I sealed that light within an inch of its life. I have the two hoses on the back but I'm still getting some moisture. The other light is still fine though. :confused:
 
Sealing them up is THE hardest part if you ask me! I have learned to use butyl, and it works like a charm. You apply it, and then heat it w a heat gun until it is all gooey. Put the lenses back on and press the lights together overnight. Works 90% of the time. And if it fails? Reheat them, rip them open again and repeat the steps. Contrary to popular belief, DO NOT USE rtv silicone. It's a great sealant, but good luck if you need to reopen the lights again. Hope this helps.
