So I went to my local bone yard and purchased some tires for my SVT. I am a poor newly-wed college student who needed tires for winter, and I found a decent pair of Kumhos All Seasons and Dunlops GT qualifiers 89T. I have the Kumhos All seasons on the back and am going to get the Dunlop GT's put on the front. Is this a good idea for winter? Is this a good match for tires? Or should I put the Kuhmos on the front?

Thanks,
Adam

What size are they, and how much tread is left on each pair? The dunlop gt is a baisic 5 rib design. They will have good stability, but might not fair well in the accelerate/decelerate if less than 6-8 32nds of tread. What kind of khumo all seasons did you get?

Kuhmo 716 HP4. They have good tread left. I hope they are a good all around tire for snow, rain, and dry pavement.

I paid 80 for a pair, and hope they last a while.
