i just got a volt gauge, and i was wondering where everyone plugs it into, to get the best reading ???i got it plugged into the back of the radio but not sure if its the best place.:blackeye:

Right to the battery.
Running to the back of the radio will only get you a reading of 12v and will drop to almost 10v sometimes and the needle will bounce around with any kind of stereo thump.

mine is tapped at the ignition and it reads exactly what the battery/alternator is doing.
