How soon should I wax my car

Well I got my car painted about 2-3 weeks ago. Its been washed numerous times so I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of how early I should start putting on some wax?

you shop didn't inform you? also I wouldn't have washed it alot either. new paint is soft and takes time to set and in that time it is still out gassing. I had my car painted in October and didn't put a coat of wax on it until the end of december into January. I was instructed to wait at least 90 days so I did. my father detailing friend even said he could feel how soft the paint still was.

So its up to you but I would wait a bit longer and don't drive it if you can help it.

3 months is the norm depending on paint...
