Same here. I've had my ATE Blue, Speed Bleeders, and SS lines sitting around for over a year I think.
The fluid itself does not change color. There are two different ATE fluids. One is blue the other is gold. When you alternate colors the fluid changes colors when all the old fluid is flushed out. The blue fluid will not turn gold when it needs to be changed.
I didn't mean change colors. I meant it turns clear after you get it really hot and old. It does do that. Right?

No. Clear fluid will turn darker as it gets old and nasty. The fluids he was talking about are blue and red so when you're flushing its easy to tell when the old is completely out because you'll see the color go from blue to red or vice versa.
