I got my rear disc knuckles today, and I would like to replace my bearings so that they don't go later. how do I replace the bearings on the rear knuckles?

how do I replace rear wheel bearings?

when you buy them they should be already inserted in the hub and all you have to do is unbolt the old ones and re-bolt the new ones.

ok, I see what you mean. now how do I get the dust cap off? hammer and punch? does the new hub come with a new cap or am I SOL?

mine didn't come with a new dust cover. i'll look tomorrow to see if there is an easy way to remove it without destroying it.

In the desert we just put a screw driver in the gap and pop them off, or grab hold of them with a channel lock pliers and pop them off.

i live in Missouri and it's not too bad from what i could tell as far as corrosion goes. so I second^^^
