Well Funnily enough my DD was getting replaced because I was so tired of wiring problems and 20mpg my price limit was $700 and I ended up finding this.

1999 Ford Escort Zx2

Paid $640 has 240K miles bought it from the original owner from 99 has an oil leak other wise mechanically it's awesome drives great no CEL's brakes vibrate mildly but it'll live for now. After going to the junkyard for a few things Steering wheel, passenger mirror, cigarette lighter, pedal covers, shifter rod (bad rubber bushing), cruise control module, and interior light I'm now into the car for $690 and I'm getting 40mpg on regular .

But now for the bad new and the reason me going to get the Escort was good news. I've been having problems with wiring for awhile I need to go through the updated harness on the SVT as it's left me stranded popping the fuel pump fusible link I've narrowed it down to the MAF wiring so when the engine comes out I will fix this issue so long as I can find it.

Now why may you be wondering is the engine that I just put in 5 months ago coming out?

Because of this.

Will be adding videos when they are done uploading.

Ironically enough the engine went Thursday night the night before I went and bought the ZX2.

 Yowza! That engine is toast! I hope you can get it back together by Spring Zing.
Nice find with the racecort.

I'm surprised there isn't a hole. I found a 72K mile sable engine from an 03 in a local junkyard for $200 but I want to get headers when I put the engine back in this time. So Mr. Fuz can you get busy on that ;)

And Racecort? HA thing has body roll Like WOOOW. It's MPG game in 6 months it'll pay for itself and that's with the $6 increase in insurance a month haha

That engine had 162k miles SVT engine went at 182k. I know of another zx2 for $500 but it needs a trans (AOD) I just planned to put a MTX in it.

Sorry, but I doubt a tune (That you've had on the car for how long now?) caused catastrophic engine failure so quickly, unless some random sudden input caused something to get so hot that....etc...
