Well seeing as how we already have 10 people and I posted this over on SVTPerformance.com this will be a go. I'm going to contact Steve tomorrow so we can figure out how many of these shifters are actually still available! I'll have an answer for you guys tomorrow!!

Primalzer1998 got bumped off the list. I will definitely get the plates ordered up - once I hear back on fitment. I should be able to order them Thursday or friday. Depending on when I hear back from CSVT#49.

These 2 are toight little numbers (if they would screw on and work w/ this shifter). I think these are the 2 nicest 5 speed nobs on the site. It would be sweet if we could get a combo deal for a discount!

What kind of knob are you guys looking for? The cougar knob like the one I have?? Or is there an aftermarket Ford Racing one available??

Here is mine... I bought it from the UK, but I've been told its a Cougar knob as well.

Basically if we had a couple options that would be great and hopefully we can get a combo deal from these guys i.e shifter + nob for a combined sale price. I posted two above but I don't know if they would work w/ this shifter. The Cougar one like yours would not be a bad idea for an option. It is nice, clean, professional looking, but if we had a couple to choose from the better.

Yea I saw you edited your post with pictures right after I replied. I'll talk to them tomorrow and see what they can do. Do you have the part numbers for those shifters you posted?

So far the answer is yes, it appears to be a Steeda shifter that Ford purchased. I sent a prototype riser plate to CSVT#49. He should get it Wednesday and he will try the install with and with out the riser to see what is needed.

Thanks for the interest everyone, hopefully this all works out for everyone (as in Ford has enough shifters).

Side Note:
My Sable just got totalled in front of my house (approximately midnight). More motivation to get the Contour fixed, since I now have to drive it to work.
