For the Photographers here

I've never had any real photography training/education...I do enjoy taking pictures though. For Christmas I replaced an ancient 4MP Sony DSC-S85 (a badass camera in it's day) with a Canon Powershot A710IS. It fit my needs perfectly as a camera I can take anywhere. Small, 6x zoom, image stablization, and full manual control.

Not hard to get a good picture when the car in question is an Audi R8.....mmmm

Sitting at a diner in the middle of the night...super long exposures make for weird colors.

Here are some old pics from last year with the old Sony (circa 2001).

Probably the sweetest thing I've ever seen. The father was encouraging his young son to run towards him as the sun set in the background.

Driving...camera in hand :p

Someday I'd like to be able to afford some more serious toys...and time to experiment more. Definately need to start with a tripod first though. A copy of Photoshop would probably be nice too...I really don't know how to use image editing software though. : /

Since they are thematic they are supposed to be looked at in a certain order so I'll number em.
