Just wondering if anyone knows what is the fastest a N/A Zetec powered Contour/Mystique ran in the 1/4 mile. Has there been a Zetec to break into the 15's without the help of a turbo, s/c, or nitrous?

it didnt go 14.3 till they cut the roof off. i have that magazine somewhere.....
i've been a ricer for a while loloh and you should ask the focus guys. i think there have been some fast zetecs. i want one just to run ITB's and spin to 10,000 rpm

Yeah I remember seeing that too! I think it was in Sport Compact Car or something.

I was asking about Contours and Mystiques. I know some of the Focus's that are Zetec powered are pretty damn quick. and maybe i should try racing w/o doors, hood, truck, and bumpers. Serious weight savings right there haha.
