during idle, engine stutters up and down

title says it all,
i first had hesitation during acceleration, but that was the maf sensor, got that replaced than this problem arrived,
replaced the o2 sensors and still the problem exists.
no cel codes yet.
i am planning to change the fuel pump, is that easy to do or do i have to have special tools and knowledge?
when i accelerate there are no issues, it runs fine, but during idle it goes down like almost about to die then goes back up then almost dies again and it keeps doing that continuously.

it also sputters oil and i am 100 percent sure i haven't over filled it.
and it has synthetic, if that has something to do with it

forget the fuel pump, most likely a vacuum leak. what year?

if it was a vacum leak wouldn't he hear it sucking air?

not necessarily, they can be very faint. That's a good possibility, also may want to check the throttle positioning sensor.

Check out the Idle Air Control (IAC) too.

Check the PCV hose where it attaches to the nipple on the intake manifold. The rubber rots through.
