I picked up a set of Dunlop Direzza DZ101's (215/50-16) at Discount tire for $511 installed and got a $50 instant rebate. I can't find anything on their website about this particular promotion.
I know... I know... They are $92 each on tirerack.com.
I figured $25 each for mount/balance and disposal fees for a total of $468. That makes the Discount Tire price with rebate competitive, or at least on par with far less hassle.
