but based on the bolt pattern of the speaker you can't call it premium or non-premium sound speaker.

I wasn't basing my reasoning solely on bolt pattern. I have had tested two 'plastic' type speakers in my SVT and they both sounded like crap (no bass at all) compared to the 'metal caged' speaker that I now installed.

Maybe both the plastic type speakers that Christine gave me were oddballs, but based on my own findings the metal type speaker that I got at SZ sounds and looks exactly like the other 3 stock SVT speakers in my car.

...and yea I know the stock speakers, premium sound or not, aren't the greatest but for as much as the car gets driven I didn't feel it was worth the money to upgrade to aftermarket at this time. Plus I'm trying to keep this car stock dammit! :laugh:
