They add oil squirter's to spray oil on the wrist pin of each piston IIRC. It was either that or the piston skirts.

It should spray it pretty much on the skirts/back of piston.

Oil squirters are used to cool the piston typically. Good for forced induction.

Yeah, piston cooling. The engine is intended to survive a fairly aggressive twin turbo tuning. That and the lower compression forged pistons are the primary forced induction modifications. I truly believe these engines are a heck of a good deal for the price. Kind of remarkable when you consider the amount of additional machining they do and the completeness of the long block.

I see that the engine has coil over plug set up, are you going to use that setup or use a conventional svt coil and wires?

What else is going to be needed if you were to use coil over plug?
