Better sunroof gear replacement

There was someone here, can't remember the name though, who actually set out to make metal gears and even started a GB interest check. It ended up that he couldn't get the gears made since the tolerances to make a metal gear with such small teeth made them very expensive. If someone could overcome that issue I'd guarantee sales; myself included.

Don't the Mondeo's have a crank? Didn't someone post about retrofit?

I did, a while ago. Recently I purchased the necessary parts from eBay, and installed it tonight. It drops right in, no modification necessary. I will create a howto shortly.

Thats interesting....i never knew they offered a gear cranked moon roof setup :crazy:
