I am curious if this is actually happening on Sunday, August 12th? My Hummer Club has set up a run for Saturday the 11th and I would like to do both so I can finally meet some CSVT owners.

Is this post from Recoveryone still our meeting place:

4210 Highland Ave, Highland, Ca, the last exit before you head up on the 330. Now if you came down the 210 you will see another Highland exit about 3 miles ahead of this one, don't get off there unless you want to go gamble at the Indian casino.

The one you want is off the 330 (Mountain resorts/Big Bear) that splits off the 210. Just incase you do get off at the first Highland exit don't panic! Just head East on Highland Ave and you will run into the Wal Mart (about 3 miles).

I'm still willing to help out, but Sunday is tight for me with church and all. But I'll setup the meeting spot since its only a few miles from my church.
 
What time do you get out of church?? Also wheres a good spot for Breakfast around there. We usually just go straight up the mountain.

Thats hard to nail down due that I'm in charge of the audio & Video for both services. So I need to be around just incase something fails or last minute changes that need my attention. So I can head out and set up the stagging area (Wal-Mart parking lot) and stop back by later.

For breakfast there is a placed called Aunt Mary's (west of the Wal mart about 1 mile) just east of the intersection of Highland & Victoria. IHOP & Coco's is just off the Highland exit (210) just east of the intersection of Highland & Arden.
 
I'm new to Calli and have NO idea where you're talking about? Where's this Highland place? I'm located in Ventura... close????
 
I just got back from the car wash, the car is all ready for Sunday, I know where I am going............

I do not know when I am getting there or who I am meeting. Am I going to show up to a Contour free WalMart parking lot? If I propose a time of 9am will other people magically appear?
 
9:00amsounds good to me. I'll have a Ford Flag hanging up in the east end of the parking lot Next to the Chevron station. Looking forward to meeting and seeing you Gents/ladies.
 
alright, ill try to make it up cuz i got to leave at about 7am if i want to get there in time.
anyone here in SD want to meet up before hand and drive up all together?
 
I went over to the Wal Mart plaza and took some scouting shots, this first one is where I will be setup at:

It sits right in front of the plaza on east end next to the chevron station, you can't miss it. If you pull into the parking lot it will be an access road to your right. I hang the Ford flag at that entrance.

9AM Sunday... now if i could get directions from the 101 that would be GREAT!
 
From Ventura: 101 south to 134 east, the 134 will turn into the 210 east in Glendale. 210 east to 330 north Exit Highland Ave. it about 1.5/2.0 hours drive.

From San Diego/OC: 15 North to 210 east 330 North Exit Highland Ave. About 1.5 drive

L.A.: 10/60/91 East 15 North to 210 east 330 North Exit Highland Ave 1.0 drive

hope the turn out is going to be good. if anyone in SD whats meet up before the drive up to get a caravan goin, hit me up with a PM and we can arrange a meeting.
