Anyone Run At Least An 8 Inch Wide Rim?

Right now im as low as I can go on the GC's. Im afraid a 205 would not fill enough of the wheel gap. To run a 205 the car would need to go lower which is not possible at my current residence.

I was looking at a 215/45 but not sure it would stretch enough to get under the car. As you know a tall tire and stretch is like oil and vinegar.

My ears are open though.

So you're worried about wheel gap? Just get the next taller height. I was looking at 205/40 for a 9J, but since you're on the GCs, you'd probably want something more 45 at the least. IF you go with the 205s, as well as a 9" wide. But, also, the 215/45 would be better to close wheel gap, just not as much as a stretch, which might/more than likely pose more fender clearance problems in the rear. Well, for my drop height, that is, and more than likely yours, as well. I'd have to see pictures up close of your current setup.

EDIT:

LOL Just got back from a 10 mile bike ride, and basically said what you already said lol

A guy just posted a thread on NECO with a phenomenal stance on a Cougar from Ukraine.

Priorities man! Food before CEG.

Hey, I know what you mean. I just put my money towards my rims to purchase my new insurance policy, as well as buy my books for my upcoming semester. It sucks, but I gotta do what's most important first.

I was referring to your runaround post to me lol. The low Glycogen levels were making you loopy.

Back at it.

I'm talking to this guy about his rims. It's a 9J with 205s on them. I will have to adjust my driving habits slightly hahaha. Only reason why I'm down for the 205s, is because since I have no camber adjustment, I will have to play with the fenders even more. And that stretch will allow some ease with it. Although it will still be a little bit to fit it correctly. I gotta fully decide if I want that much poke. Well, it's not much (Pope's picture of the rear, since front has SOME camber) But still.

that stretch is too much. ugly..this is best IMO for a stretch, although the poke is excessive

this would be perfect to me....

While the TL is also perfect stance as well, to me, I don't have that one thing that can achieve it that much easier, camber adjusment.
