Be Gentle I'm New Here
I had my brakes done at Belle Tire about 2 years ago or so, and now I'm replacing them myself. I went to take the rears apart and got all the way down to the calipar carrier. When I went to take the two Torx bolts out of the caliper carrier they were frozen. I worked on them for about 4 hours, no kidding, and finally got one out, with a pipe wrench. Come to find out, the stupid tech that did them before but Lock-Tite on the bolts instead of anti-seize. The problem is, I cant get the other one off, the top one, the suspension comes into play. I've tried everything I can think of, breaker bar, PB Blaster, heating and cooling, etc. Anyone got any other ideas? It's driving me crazy, I just wanna put my damn brakes on!!! Thanks for the help.
