Amber Alert signs are flashing on majorhighway in the Lehigh Valley this morning for an 8-year-old boy abducted in Allegheny County.
State police issued the alert on behalf of the Wilkinsburg Police Department, which is searching for Jacquir Baston who was reportedly taken by David George.
The alert does not explain George's relationship to the boy or include a vehicle description and possible direction of travel or destination.
State police described the boy as black, about 5 feet 1 inch tall, 70 pounds, short black hair, brown eyes and last seen wearing a red "Timberland" T-shirt, faded black jeans and black shoes with blue soles. He was taken from his home in Wilkinsburg around 3 a.m. today.
His alleged abductor was described as a black male, 25 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 200 pounds, black hair worn in braids with beads in the back and a lazy, right eye. He was last wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt with gold writing down the sleeve and a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball cap.
