a/c removal

I bought the non a/c belt but I want to do this the legit way. There's no freon since it already leaked. Anyone got any tips? I searched on the subject for like an hour and found nothing sorry if this is already covered.

problem! I looked under my hood and saw the disappointing glisten of a stripped bolt on the tensioner How do I get my belt off now? Anyone got any techniques to relieve the tensioner without using the bolt as a leverage point?

cut the belt and buy a new belt and tensioner? :shrug:

I went to a local auto warehouse and got a grade 8 replacement bolt...when this project is done I'll be posting a lot of how to's because 90% of the stuff I did required custom fab and learning the hard way. The other 10% was easy thanks to CEG
