I have some very low mileage SVT heads that I'd like to take to a shop and have 3L valves installed. Dumb question...but is this something any capable machine shop can do?
As long as the shop has the ability to make a fixture/workholding that can index the part correctly, it should be a pretty easy job. The only hang up I could forsee is if the radius on the backside of the valve is deeper than the 2.5's, getting that raduis correct without scrapping the head may take some time.
