ok guys, so i have a full 04 taurus 3l in my car, i'm wondering what pound injectors it has now? and where can i find aftermarket injectors? i had read/heard somewhere we can use injectors from a 1st gen lightning. is this true? thx guys.

3L injector questions

Unless your going FI, the injectors you have are fine. I'm running 39 lb/hr Cobra injectors...many other people run the 42 lb/hr Lightning injectors.

You need to find out what plug type you have on your injectors to properly match it.
Some 3L's come with 21 lb injectors others 24lb IIRC they are EV6 plugs.

Yes. There is a list somewhere on here of all the injector colors and their flow rate.
ok, so i have orange injectors, which are the 19lb. ones. so i think i wanna get up to 24lb or maybe even a little more.

You should definitely be running 24# injectors on a 3L. Since you say full 3L I assume you have (or are going to have) it tuned so just make sure when you get it tuned, you let them know you're running the 24# injectors.
