I was curious which 3L Duratecs can and cannot be used for swaps. I know that we cannot use VVT Duratecs, but but how about others?
The reason I am asking is because I can get my hands on a 2008 Duratec 3L out of a Mercury Mariner that got demolished in the rear.
The thing that's weird is the WP is being run by the Exhaust cam (the one closest to the front of the car) where nornally it is run by the Intake cam...
The engine has 12k miles, and I can get it for stupidly cheap.
