2.5 and 3 litre ignition timing question

have the 3 litre st220 engine up and running in my st24, can i say what an improvment in the mid range, more response everywhere. just wondered if anyone knows if the 3l engine runs more or less or anound the same ignition advance than the 2.5 engine

the ignition advance is going to be controlled by the computer. So its going to at least start the same as the pcm leans .... or at least that is my take on how it works.

All controlled by the ECM as Brapple said. It's going to take all the inputs (crank sensor, cam sensor, knock sensor, HEGO sensor, MAF, IAT) to provide advancing or retarding as required.
