surprise at the dyno

I hope you put down a good bit more than 220whp. Otherwise going into the engine would be a waste of money, it should be able to hold more than that on stock stuff.

seeing as how my engine has 233k miles on it i dont want to push it to hard. plus the eventual plan is to go beyond the 300-400hp mark.
 
Oh I thought you had done blown that one up. If your plans were just around the 200 mark, I'd throw a newer stock engine back in. With higher goals, yeah the built engine is warranted.
 
whats the HP difference between the 2.5 and the 3.0 swap (if everything was left stock)

while working at a machine shop i realized this was possible and always thought it would be rather unique..... after coming here i realized yet again i have been beaten to an idea LOL
 
Stock svt is rated at something like 200/170 and a stock 3L is 200/200. But swap the svt cams in,etc. and you usually gain around 20hp.
