Interest Check: Deep set chrome gauge cluster trim rings

Several people have expressed interest in the Deep set chrome gauge cluster trim rings I ordered and installed from The-Tuning Shop company over in the UK. The story behind these as well as your comments & questions about them, please post here... (lets not clutter this thread)

This thread is to see who's committed to purchasing a set on a group buy. Currently, they sell for $45.98 shipped to your door from the UK. If there is enough interest (say 20 or more), I will speak with the owner about a group buy discount for CEG.

In all likelihood, the cheapest and easiest way to do this will be have them all ship to me and I mail them out parcel post (estimated $3) to you guys. This also eliminates custom headache's and delays (customs held my set of rings for nearly 3 weeks before finally releasing them to be delivered).

So if your "all in" for a set of these (final price will be determined later on) please add your name to the list.

Well your looking at 2+ weeks to get the money together and an answer from him plus another 3 weeks at customs, plus another 2 weeks for shipping to the OP then too us. Plus all the BS in between. So ya I don't see how it will be less then 2 months

It should not be two months. A month perhaps (manufacturing, shipping to U.S. through Customs, shipping from me to you), but not two. Can I promise it wont take longer? No, several elements are outside of my direct control. What I can say is it's fairly uncommon for Customs to delay a package. In all the years I have ordered stuff from abroad, the trim rings were the first time I've ever been made to wait for customs to release a hold on a package.

I spoke with Greg at the Tuning Shop and we have worked out a deal for 20+ sets.

The group buy price will be $35 shipped to your door within the U.S.. To Canada (from me) add $3 to cover additional shipping charges.

How this will work is I will collect payment from everyone (paypal, check, etc), order the Trim rings, and have them all shipped to me. This will save us excess shipping charges and avoid the headache of some people getting there rings right away while others get held up in customs. Once I receive the rings I will mail them out to each of you.

I will start a official group buy thread. If your in for a set, please add your name to the group buy list. I will go into full details and give payment instructions in the new thread.
