new peeve when my wife makes black forrest cake to take to work and all I get is crumbs:cry:

You're lucky you have a wife that can bake!

I bet if you butter her up with compliments on how much you love her baking, and bat your eyelids asking her to make something just for you, the flattery will work.
Give it a shot.
Then after you've eaten the yummies, make sure you show her some extra appreciation afterward...
