SVT Leather seats

I thought I saw somewhere that the leather on the factory svt seats can be removed and replaced. I have searched but I can't find anything to back that up.

Does anyone know if the covers can be taken off, or has anyone ever taken one off?

It can be removed, but you might want someone to put it back on. So its done properly.
