Highest Milage

On top of the repairs I had already done, there were some oddities that I feared would turn on me in the near future. ATX clunk, weird pseudo-overheating, starter, etc. I do regret selling it though. If my parents let me store it in the yard, I would have likely kept it.

No I don't, cuz it's a code I've never had before! So now I have to go searching , lol. But if I didn't want an V6/SVT/3L so bad I'd keep this car till it died, and it wouldn't surprise me if this car could make it over 200k . I hardly have any serious problems with it to be honest.

so keep it as a winter beater and get a nice V6/SVT/3L

and I have 198xxx on my zetec right now ...

98 SVT w/ 178k...VSS currently dead, so the mileage isn't racking up right now..hehe...not that it matters for value anymore

Damn, I need to really start driving my car more, but keeping it in my carport all winter don't help. LOL, I have 85K on a 97 Zetec ATX everything original except battery, tires (of course) spark plugs, wires blah blah blah...pretty much normal wear and tear stuff.
On the other hand I have a 95 Escort 2 door hatch with just about 150K on it, and a 95 Blazer with 116K, thats the gas hog so it don't get driven as much.

98,XXX miles on my 99 4 cylinder ATX contour. I love to see that you all are getting high miles on these cars. I hope to reach 300K!

Currently on a 97 V6 MTX 102k and some change miles. Everything stock except the regular wear & tears

But it'll get up there quick, I'm pulling about 60miles every day, Monday-Friday with this new job.

What all 100k mile stuff should I worry about replacing?

187,000 miles on my 95 mystique zetec orginal engine and trans. and 102,000 miles on the 95 contour zetec with original engine and trans.

Longevity-wise, Zetec > Duratec.

But in almost every other aspect, Duratec > Zetec

I agree with you 100%. When I got my contour I couldnt afford the SVT:cry: . But I get my speed fix with my Cobra:cool:. Hopefully one day I can get a high milage SVT contour.
