nope, with galaga, you have to stay at the bottom of the screen. On 1942 YOU CAN FLY AROUND THE WHOLE SCREEN, IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Plus the bad guys don't look like insects, and don't have tractor beams of doom either.
